July 2-6, 2018, in the city of Kiev, International Scientific Symposium on: “Eurasian Bio-diversity 2018 “ was held. The representatives of 12 countries took part in the Symposium. Professor of Batumi University Rezo Jabnidze, who also represented Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences took part in the work of the scientific forum. Being elected a member of organization committee and a head of perennial cultures section, he directed the work of the section in which about hundred articles were delivered which dealt with Eurasian bio-diversity and the problems of its protection. Particular attention was paid to global warming, production of ecologically pure products and deepening the cooperation between the countries in this area.

Prof.Rezo Jabnidze read the letter of Professor of Batumi University Merab Khalvashi who offered the next symposium to be held in Batumi, the representatives supported the rational proposal with enthusiasm.
