On January 27, 2017 Academic Board Meeting was held at Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The following issues were deal with:

 1)   Preparation for GAAS Annual Report of 2016 activities, and publishing of the materials.

Presenters: GAAS president, G. Aleksidze, Vice President G. Japaridze

  2   The report of the Scientific Departments of the Academy regarding annual scientific work conducted in 2016, Also the perspective plans for 2017 has been discussed.

The presenters: Academicians, the head of the scientific departments: Margvelashvili, Gugushvili, makharoblidze, Baghaturia, Tskitishvili, Chagelishvili, and Keshelashvili.

 3)   Current organizational issues.

G. aleksidze awarded the former employees of the Academt: J. Pirtskhalaishvili, V. Nadareishvili, and Sh. Chelidze with Certificates of Honor.
